J.A.N.E. uses artificial intelligence, deterministic models, statistical methods, and simulation. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for a particular cultivar, facility, jurisdiction, or operating condition.
Evidence labels matter
The service distinguishes modeled, simulation-derived, observed, and validated evidence. Simulation-generated or AI-generated results are not physical measurements, laboratory findings, compliance determinations, or facility validation.
Plant health
Image analysis can suggest possible stress, pests, disease, or deficiencies, but it is not a guaranteed diagnosis. Confirm material decisions through qualified inspection, appropriate testing, and the actual condition of the crop.
Operational and financial projections
Yield, quality, energy, cost, savings, maturity, harvest, and post-harvest outputs are projections. Actual outcomes depend on conditions and actions outside the model and may differ materially.
Human oversight and controls
Recommendations do not execute equipment commands by themselves. Physical control requires compatible commissioned equipment, verified mappings and readback, applicable safety limits, and the authorization mode selected by responsible operators. Maintain independent physical safeties and emergency procedures.
Regulatory use
J.A.N.E. may organize evidence and assist workflows, but it does not issue legal advice or independently certify compliance. Users remain responsible for licenses, reporting, retention, testing, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
